This policy explains how Duscent handles personal data when you visit duscent.ae, create an account, place or track an order, join our newsletter, submit a review or enquiry, or contact customer care.
We may collect your name, email address, phone number, delivery and billing addresses, account details, order and return history, your Privacy Policy agreement record, wishlist, customer-care messages, reviews, newsletter preferences, the day and month of your birthday when you choose to provide it, and information included in contact, sourcing, or bulk-order enquiries.
We also receive technical and usage information such as IP address, browser and device details, page visits, shopping interactions, cookie or cart identifiers, language preference, and limited diagnostic information when an error occurs. Guest wishlists, fragrance-finder answers, and recent searches may be stored locally on your device.
Card and wallet payments are processed by Stripe, and eligible instalment payments are processed by Tabby. Full card details are submitted directly to the payment provider and are not stored on Duscent servers. Cash-on-delivery orders do not require card details.
Depending on the feature you use, data may also be handled by service providers supporting delivery, hosting, email, customer authentication, fraud prevention, reCAPTCHA, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and Microsoft Clarity. If you sign in with Google, Google provides the account details needed to authenticate you. These providers process data under their own terms and privacy notices.

We use personal data to create and manage accounts; process, deliver, track, return, and refund orders; take payments; prevent misuse and fraud; respond to enquiries; publish approved reviews; operate and secure the storefront; diagnose errors; understand site performance; and meet legal, accounting, and regulatory requirements.
We use your email for marketing only when you choose to subscribe. If you voluntarily provide the day and month of your birthday, we may use it to personalise birthday offers. You can unsubscribe using the link in any marketing email or by contacting us. Transactional messages about an order or account may still be sent when necessary to provide the service you requested.
We use storage for carts, sign-in, language preference, security, and guest order access. Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and Microsoft Clarity may use cookies or similar technologies to measure visits and interactions. You can block or delete storage through your browser settings, although blocking essential storage may prevent the cart, account, or checkout from working correctly.
We share only the information reasonably needed with providers that help us operate the store—for example payment providers, couriers, hosting and technology vendors, email services, analytics and security services, and professional advisers. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect customers or Duscent, or as part of a business reorganisation. We do not sell personal data.
Some service providers may process information outside the United Arab Emirates. Where cross-border processing occurs, it is handled subject to applicable UAE requirements and the safeguards provided by the relevant service provider.
We retain personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above, including order fulfilment, customer support, fraud prevention, and legal, tax, accounting, or dispute requirements. Different records may therefore have different retention periods.
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect personal data. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, so please use a strong password and contact us promptly if you believe your account or information has been compromised.
Subject to applicable UAE law, you may ask for information about your personal data, request access or a copy, correct inaccurate or outdated information, request deletion, restrict or stop certain processing, request data transfer where applicable, withdraw consent, or object to direct marketing. Some requests may be limited where information must be retained by law or for legal claims.
